HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) A former city dental office employee accused of stealing roughly $130,000 from her employer pleaded guilty on Thursday. New Market resident Jeannie Braithwaite pleaded guilty to two counts of embezzlement. A judge sentenced her to an 8-year suspended prison sentence and ordered her to pay restitution. Prosecutors say she stole money from Dr. Anna-Marie Boggs’ office, where she worked as a receptionist. The defendant worked at the office for roughly two decades. Have questions or concerns?
