Teresa Marie Cox-Kubas, 39, stole $103,293.06 from Nova Scotia Dentist Dr. Robert Rix through hundreds of transactions over a four-year period.

Teresa Cox-Kubas sentenced to jail

She was sentenced in November 2005 to one year in jail followed by two years of probation.

As with most dental; embezzlement cases, lack of oversight and supervision is a major contributing factor to the success of the embezzler.
