
Barbara McAlister, 64, of Indiana pleaded guilty to one count of corrupt business influence — a Class C felony — and five counts of theft in connection with the embezzlement of more than $142,000 from Spaulding Dental, where she had served as bookkeeper and receptionist. According to the probable cause affidavit, McAlister pocketed cash payments from patients. She was ordered to pay restitution exceeding $142,000.
