Sherry Hansel CA

Sherry Hansel (date of birth July 23, 1966) of Pacifica CA has been sentenced to one year in prison in connection with embezzlement at a dental practice where she worked as insurance coordinator. She was previously held on bail of $50,000.

Prosperident's Supervising Examiner Christine Geary, who passed away in December 2024, was the lead investigator on this case.

A review of Ms. Hansel's previous activity reveals convictions for theft and forgery in 2004 and embezzlement in 2021. Her Facebook page contains a picture with the caption Faith, Hope, Love, which seems a bit misplaced in this situation.

While we regret the damage that Ms. Hansel caused to the practice where she worked, we are pleased her stealing has been stopped and that another embezzler has been taken off the street.
