Cindy Crissien, 23, the former office manager for an Essex County, New Jersey dentist, pleaded guilty to theft by deception for stealing more than $37,000 in insurance claim checks from the practice. Crissien faced a maximum of ten years in prison. The case was prosecuted before Essex County Superior Court Judge Nancy Sivilli by Insurance Fraud Prosecutor Greta Gooden Brown of the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice.
