Polixeni Kouvaras, the former manager of Dr. William Logan's dental practice at 601 Fourth Avenue in New Brighton, Pennsylvania, was accused of skimming at least $10,500 from the practice over an extended period. The fraud came to light when Dr. Logan discovered that the practice management software he had used for ten years contained audit functionality he had not previously known about. A review of those records revealed a pattern of unauthorized diversions that prompted a police investigation.
