A Norwalk CT man is facing charges in the theft of nearly $300,000 from a New York dental office where he was employed over a four-year period, police said.

The Nassau County Police Department said Fernandez was the practice's office manager when he "changed the business routing account number from the dentist office to his own personal bank account."

Fernandez stole a total of about $286,000, police said, and was taken into custody Wednesday morning and scheduled to be arraigned later that day.
