Debbie Kim Gagne, 50, an office manager from Alberta who pleaded guilty to stealing more than a quarter of a million dollars from her dental employer, was sentenced to two years in prison and ordered to pay restitution for amounts still outstanding. The theft represented one of the larger dental embezzlement cases in that region and resulted in a substantial custodial sentence.
