Donna Brining, 56, of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, was charged with embezzlement after investigators determined she had taken approximately $22,000 from the dental practice of Dr. Randolph Evans in Martinsburg, where she had served as office manager until her resignation on April 23, 2003. The case was investigated by West Virginia State Police Trooper J.D. Bird.
