Dorothea Knudson, 45, of Plains, Montana, was sentenced to 30 years in the Montana Department of Corrections — with 25 years suspended, resulting in an effective five-year term — after pleading guilty to theft by embezzlement, deceptive practices, and insurance fraud for stealing more than $250,000 from a local dental clinic. The case was adjudicated in Ravalli County District Court.
