Jo Ginia Moniz, 43, of Wheatland, California was sentenced to three years in prison by Sutter County Superior Court Judge Brian Aronson after pleading guilty to embezzling thousands of dollars from a Yuba City medical office. The sentencing followed a guilty plea and reflected the court’s assessment of the seriousness of the financial harm caused to the practice.
