Karen Schrank, 36, of Payson, Arizona pleaded guilty to theft charges for embezzling more than $35,000 from a local dental practice, and separately admitted to taking funds from the Payson Youth Football League. She was sentenced to jail time and restitution. The involvement of a second victim organization illustrates that a pattern of dishonest conduct rarely limits itself to a single employer.
