Kimberly Reed, 43, a former office manager at a husband-and-wife dental practice in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, was sentenced to ten years in prison after being convicted on multiple charges arising from a six-year embezzlement scheme in which she diverted more than $60,000 from the practice.
Reed was indicted by an Anderson County grand jury and turned herself in to the Anderson County Jail. Her convictions spanned a range of offenses including forgery (a Class E felony), identity theft (a Class D felony), multiple theft counts at both the felony and misdemeanor level, fraudulent use of a credit card, criminal impersonation, and criminal trespass.
