Melissa Kay Grawey, 42, of Petoskey, Michigan was sentenced in 57th Circuit Court to eleven months in jail for embezzling more than $94,000 from a northern Michigan dental practice. The theft came to light in February 2009. The combination of a criminal conviction and a significant jail term is among the more common outcomes in dental embezzlement cases prosecuted in Michigan.
