Paula M. Sullivan, 45, a former office manager at the downtown Chicago dental practice of Katz & Gershenzon Ltd., was sentenced to one year in federal prison after pleading guilty to bank fraud. Sullivan embezzled more than $800,000 from the practice over nearly seven years by forging hundreds of checks drawn on the firm's account.
Sullivan managed the practice located at 30 N. Michigan Avenue. Formerly a resident of Wilmette, Illinois, she had relocated to Whitewater, Wisconsin, by the time of sentencing.
