
Toni McMurphy, 55, a former office manager for an Atmore, Alabama (AL) dentist, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Kristi K. DuBose to four months in federal prison followed by four months of home confinement after pleading guilty to health care fraud and mail fraud. The fraud involved approximately $45,000 diverted from the practice. McMurphy was permitted to voluntarily surrender to federal custody upon notification from the U.S. Marshals Service.
