COLUMBIA — Malentha Robinson-Taylor, 46, of Cordova was sentenced Monday in federal court in Columbia for conspiracy to commit health care fraud, U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles reported.
Malentha Robinson-Taylor ordered to pay restitution
The total claims submitted to the insurance company totaled approximately $800,000. The amount paid by insurance was approximately $368,000. The amount kept by Malentha Robinson-Taylor was approximately $126,000.
The case was investigated by agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Assistant U. S. Attorney Winston D. Holliday Jr., of the Columbia office prosecuted the case.
