Minnesota dental assistant Laurie Jones sentenced for steal of $35k from youth hockey association; receives reprimand from state board

Here is an extract from the Minnesota North Metro Youth Hockey Association meeting minutes of June 2010:

Laurie Jones Embezzlement: The law firm of Moss and Barnett has filed a civil suit on behalf
of NMYHA and its membership per the Executive Boards request. Summons was served on
5/10/10 for the embezzlement from the BPYHA (now known as NMYHA) Gambling
operations. Ms. Jones response was to be made by 5/31/10 for the summons. A response has
been received and will need to be reviewed by the EB before further actions can be made.
Response sent to EB members and will discuss at July EB meeting.

Laurie Jones repays $24K

Laurie Jones was sentenced and paid back the hockey association $24,000.
