Michael Doughty, Husband of Washington bookkeeper accused of laundering in $1.9M Steal

Michael Doughty, 45, of Lacey, Washington, was arrested on suspicion of money laundering in connection with the $1.9 million embezzlement scheme carried out by his wife, Lori L. Doughty, a part-time bookkeeper at The Fisher Group dental clinic in Olympia. Prosecutors alleged that Doughty laundered a portion of the stolen funds. His wife had already been fired and separately arrested on theft charges arising from the same scheme.
